Last Day of VACA :(

I mentioned yesterday that I found some good deals at JCPenney's

while the boys were at Sea World.

The deals were soooooooo good

that we stopped at another mall and hit up their JCPenney's on the way out of town.....

While I was shopping, Caleb and Parker were entertaining themselves.

Parker is into hide n go seek.... He's hiding here... I think his theory is that if he can't see you, you can't see him. ;)

No telling how many times they went up and down the escalator.

This was an ear warmer.

They also had matching gloves and hats.... all different animals as well.

On the way home we drove through Bastrop. They had two wildfires they were battling. We even had to detour as they had HWY 21 shut down. People were evacuating and trying to get their animals out. We had never seen anything like what we saw today. Our hearts broke for the people of Bastrop. We stopped at Chicken Express in Bastrop. Although the fires were going, the town was still up and running. There were people in Chicken E who were evacuating and even two girls who had just lost their house.

Parker's imagination is constantly going. He said one chicken tender looked like a banana. This one looked like a smile. :)

Although our trip was not what we had planned and we were all super bummed we didn't get to go to Casper, Wyoming to see Trevor, we felt like we made the best of our weekend! It was our last family vacation as a family of three and it was a great one!! Parker had a blast the whole weekend and was such a big boy!!! We can't wait to take Cooper in a few years!! The boys are going to have so much fun together!!!!!
