FuN dAy

He insisted on wearing his shirt backwards so he could have a "Captain America T-shirt"

We went to the pool today.  This is how I found him on the way to the pool.
He wore the goggles and snorkel when he slid down the slide today. It was quite comical to say the least.  There was another lady sitting near the slide who was cracking up.

Check out how long his hair is when it's spiked!
But how cute is he?!?!?

"So Mom, you think it's raining?"

Day at the Dentist

He picked McDonald's for his reward.  We sat down and he said, "Eat it to the cone mom.  That's what I want."  So yeah... next time... I'm ordering just the cone.  He was super pumped because "I let" him eat it all the way to "here" and pointed to the bottom of the cone.

March of 2011, Parker fell on his slide and hit his front tooth.  It's been slightly grey.  Today he was laying on his back, trying to watch a movie on the kindle and dropped it on his already grey tooth.  Blood. Crying.  Grey Tooth.  I took him to our family dentist.  The dentist was really worried that it was going to get infected and the infection would get to the permanent tooth. He wants to "clean the tooth out and put medicine in it" aka like a mini-version of an adult root canal.  Parker was such a big trooper. I was sooooooo proud of him!

Out of the Mouth of Cooper

Squealing.

Straight Up Squealing.

He learned how to squeal when we were in North Carolina and he hasn't stopped.

I know once he starts talking, he will talk all the time and most people say to enjoy the fact that babies can't talk.  We are all ready for Coop to talk.

At least he is super cute though. ;)

Out of the Mouth of Parker

Here are a few funny things Parker has said lately:

- "Mom, next time I will tell you what to do."

- "Your hair brush is prickly, Mom."

- Caleb ordered a Cherry Berry Chiller from McDonalds. Parker wanted to try it.  Parker liked it a whole lot.  As he was slurping it down he told Caleb, "I'll just hold this for you while you drive, Dad."

- He told Granny that he is 3 years taller than Cooper.  Makes sense to me.

- Also on vacation, we traveled in Granny's van.  Granny rode in the back and the boys rode in the middle.  Parker gave very specific instructions on how to get in and out of the car:  Parker is first.  Granny is second.  Cooper is third.  So much that when we got home, he was still trying to say that Granny gets out/ in second and she wasn't with us anymore.

Parker's First Time Bowling

We signed up for free bowling for kiddos this summer. Monday- Friday, 10 am - 4 pm at participating bowling allies.  We went today- it was Parker's first time to bowl.  He had a great time.  How could he not have a fun time with his best friend, Braylon!

Braylon's Mom, Tracy, and I switched the boys shoes.... They thought it was funny!

Best friends- Spiderman & Green Lantern

Braylon's older sister, Georgia, watching Parker's ball with him.

Then we discovered the ramp for the boys to bowl on.
They were pretty good after that....
Can you tell he's getting tired?

You're probably wondering where Cooper is?
Yeah, I forgot to take pics of his first time at the bowling alley.
He enjoyed all of the attention he was given from all of our friends who went!
Oh and he peed on the chair when I was changing his diaper.  That was funny- or funny now.
