Our (Indoor) Hunter

Last night I found a vest hanging in Parker's closet.
I got all excited (in hopes that he would feed off of the excitement)
because it's not a jacket and would keep him warm.
He said, "oh it's a hunting vest."
"YES! It is!"
He was so excited about it that he slept in it.
He also put his (batting) "hunting" gloves in the pocket.
When he woke up he and his dad got the water guns and "hunted" the stuffed reindeer in Parker's room.
His Dad couldn't be more excited!

Fun Times

Jennifer came to visit us today until Friday. Sebastian called and invited us all to go to eat with his family for his 10th birthday. We went to Chuy's. Before we left the house Jennifer was playing with Parker and put this on his head. Parker liked it and called it his "robot helmet." He said he wanted to wear it to dinner but didn't want anyone laughing at him (his new thing to say). Before we got to Chuy's he forgot about it.
We were bummed because we didn't get a pic of all of the kids together at dinner.
After we ate Jennifer, Parker, Cooper and myself went to the mall. Parker, Cooper and me rode the train at the mall. Jennifer went shopping.
We discovered this carousel in the back of a new shoe store. Parker loved it. I loved it because it was only .25 to ride!!! I haven't seen a ride for under .75 since I was a kid! This will be new motivation for Parker to go to the mall with me! :)
Cooper soaking it all in!
His bib pretty much sums up my life! :)

We met Anderson and Andrea at the Children's Museum this morning.
The boys had a great time!
They showed up wearing the same shoes. I thought it was so funny!

Christmas Day Attire
Cooper still sleeps A LOT... here is just hanging out... He was sporting his Christmas clothes under the Aggie bib. ;) Santa was good to Cooper... put some formula and candy canes in his stocking. He also brought him some toys.
We all had a great, relaxing day around the house.

~Merry Christmas EVE~

Parker is making the cookies he is going to leave for Santa.
He made a few to look like reindeer...

He left the cookies & milk for Santa and veggies for the reindeer.
He also left a note to Santa explaining that the vegetables were for the reindeer.

After our Christmas service tonight we came home and ate dinner.
After dinner we were able to open one gift plus our gifts from Parker.
We allowed Parker to pick out his gifts he bought for people.
He put A LOT of thought into his purchases.
He wanted to buy his dad a "toot thing" (what you know as a whoopie cushion).
While we were at Cracker Barrel, I saw a toot machine.
Caleb loved it. It was on my nerves within the first 5 minutes of it being opened.
Below is a picture of what Parker bought me.
It drums and plays Christmas music.
I love it.

Pics For You To Enjoy

Aggie Basketball Game!

We were given two tickets to the Aggie Men's Basketball game for this evening. I took both of the boys and we had a great time! Although we didn't watch a whole lot of the game, Parker enjoyed playing and Cooper loved me holding him. It was a fun evening for all of us!

Just For You Uncle Kenny

Parker's imagination is at its best...
This is his "firetruck"......

how you tell if you've had a good nap....

you wake up like this.

*I'm not sure why his shirt is like this.

Elf On A Shelf

This year during the month of December we have a new family member- Batman. Batman joined us from the north pole earlier this month. He leaves our house every night after we are asleep to visit Santa and give a report on how our day was. He returns before we wake up- always to a new spot in our house. It's been a fun game for us to find him in the mornings. Parker wakes up most mornings asking where Batman is. The only rule with Elf on a Shelf is that you can't touch him as he will loose his magic.

Here is where he spent one day:

He landed in our car when we were taking a trip to Dallas:

He also spent a day hanging upside down on this clock, one day in Parker's closet, in Parker's tree, on our tv, and in the candle holder decoration in our kitchen. It was a lot of fun starting this tradition with Parker.

I asked Parker to pick up his toys. He loaded them in this box:
Playing in a fort we made:
Where's Parker?
Who needs toys when you can get in a box?
He tried convincing me to let him sleep in the box:

Shark Man

We had a great weekend celebrating Christmas with our family this weekend. Here is a picture of Parker and his new helmet on the way home watching a Christmas movie.
