My Party

Tonight we had a few friends over for New Year's Eve.
We decided this year to stay home and a couple of our friends with young kids came over for a couple of hours.
I told Parker this morning that we were going to have a party and some of his friends were going to come over for New Year's.
He said, "I have a party."
And then it was, "My Party."
He's all into the parties these days.

We had a great time. It was a very low key New Year's Eve and it was so nice to be home and not go anywhere. Parker and I were asleep before 11. (We let him almost ring in the New Year.) I think it's the first year in several, or maybe my whole life, that I did not see the ball drop.
Either way, it was a nice.

So Happy New Year's!

New Shirt & Shopping at Academy

He wanted to pose with the fishing poles.
(A boy after his daddy's heart.)
All I heard was, "I want fishing pole. fishing pole. fishing poles.
Momma. Fishing poles over there."

Blue Bell Creamery

Today our neighbor, Angela, took her daughter, Addison, and Parker
to Brenham to the Blue Bell Creamery for the ice cream tour.
They had actually added a new room to view since I went two years ago.
Parker and Addison did a great job.
At the end of the tour we got to eat ice cream.
I had peppermint
(don't kill me, Braum's peppermint ice cream was better)
and Parker had "pink" ice cream.
He loved it (as always!).
Addison threw her trash away along with mine and her moms.
Once Parker was finished eating, he picked up his trash and took it to the trash
and threw it away himself.
It was so cute.
And impressive.
We had a great day with Addison and Angela.
Parker adores Addison.

We ate lunch at Must Be Heaven in Brenham (my favorite location).
This is their treee. I want to copy the top of it next year.
As soon as I took the picture of the tree,
Parker wanted me to take a picture of these stuffed people:
Cute Addison at Blue Bell.
She insisted on wearing the hat.
Take a look at the tree... decorated with Blue Bell cartons. :)

A Blast from the Past...

I was uploading pics from the holidays on here and saw this super cute picture
of Parker eating his Nutella.
How stinkin' cute? Mess and all!?!?!?

Such a Sweet Boy

This morning I was laying in bed and I heard Parker tell Caleb, "Let's make coffee for Momma."
So sweet.
He knows that Caleb makes coffee for me every morning, but Parker wanted to be in on it this morning & it was his idea!
Such a sweet boy!

Christmas Morning :)

Cookies and Reindeer Food Parke left the night before....
After Santa came....

Looking at all the cool things Santa left
Patches is sure to check it out...

Santa & the reindeer ate all of their treats, apparently they didn't like the milk, but he left Ranger and Patches each a treat.
