Happy 4th of July! (One Day Early)

Today we celebrated the Fourth of July with our best friends from high school. Michael & Philip's Dad has a lake house on Cedar Creek Lake and we went today and took Parker with us.
Not long after we arrived, he was best friends with Lauren.
It was so cute to see him lead her around and for them to read his book together.
We went to a little beach area around the corner from Kelley's lake house.
Parker DID NOT like the sand... even with his water shoes on, he would not put his feet down.
After we got back from the "beach," Parker had a bath and then he geared up and ready to party. He was the social butterfly of the party. He was very giving us his high fives.
He loved, loved, loved Kelley (Michael & Philip's Dad), Philip and Kevin.
The boys were setting off hundreds of black cats throughout the afternoon. We were extremely shocked when Parker didn't even flinch when they went off. One time the boys set off a lot and Kelley came outside. Parker was watching them go off and somehow he saw Kelley come out, he immediately ran over to Kelley and put his hand on his leg. Kelley picked him up and they watched the black cats together.
After dinner, we all went over to Don Nelson's house for the fireworks show that Kelley puts on. It was awesome and Parker LOVED watching them!
He was such a trooper today and it was so fun to watch him interact with our friends! :)
Here are a few pics from today:
Napping on the way.
We were finally able to persuade him to take a nap in the car or once we go to the lake.
Mr. Patriotic headed to the "beach."

Giving a high-five. :)
Kevin and Parker
