Parker and his Daddy built Kyle Field out of his Toy Story dominoes.

*Disclaimer*

I was going back and looking at previous posts from this week. I forgot to add that Cooper wore his Thanksgiving outfit each day. YES, the SAME outfit. YES, I washed it each day. It was so cute and so appropriate, so why not? Good thing he has a TON of Christmas outfits to start wearing next week.
Can I add that I love, love, love this time of year!?!?

Oh and by the way... Cooper was weighed on Wednesday- 10 lbs. Little piglet!

So Much To Be Thankful For This Year...

The other day at Walmart a sweet lady stopped to admire how cute and sweet Cooper is. She looked at me and said, "You have a lot to be thankful for this year." It really stuck with me and got me to thinking.... I tend to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of the holidays and forget to count my blessings and reflect on the true meaning of Thanksgiving.
And by the way, yes mam, I do have a whole lot to be thankful for:
I have a very handsome, funny, helpful, wonderful husband; a busy 3 year old who makes sure there is never a dull moment around our house; a sweet, cuddly, chubby face 6 week old boy; 2 loyal 4 legged kids. I also have the BEST family & friends in whole wide world. I have a warm house; a bed and covers to get into each night; a safe, dependable vehicle to tote my family around in; food in the pantry; clothes in each closet; and a little change in the piggy bank. I am one thankful, blessed girl.
I'm also thankful for my one of my favorite people in the whole wide world, Gramps. Happy Birthday Gramps, Grampsy, Pop, Red, Zeke, Grumpy Gramps- whatever you want to call him. If you see him today squeeze his neck for me! We love you Gramps and are so blessed to call you our Gramps. I hope you know how grateful we are for you!! You are a blessing!!!
So Happy Thanksgiving Everyone and don't forget to count your blessings today!

Cooper catching some zzz's after his Thanksgiving lunch.
We went to our good friends' the Yates' and spent Thanksgiving lunch with their family. Parker and Shaenyn are good friends. (OF COURSE I did not get one picture of our whole family together. I need to get better at this!)
Caleb and I went to the last A&M/ Texas game. (Again, no pic of us! Again, must get better at remembering these things!) It was so packed and a lot of fun... even though the outcome wasn't what we wanted, it was a good game and we are still proud to be Aggies!

Thanksgiving Eve- Preparations and Celebrations for Turkey Day!

Gearing up for the big game on Thanksgiving... "Romo" smiling:
This is how sweet Cooper spent his day:
Parker was a great help in the kitchen. I was tending to Cooper and we needed walnuts chopped. He took it upon himself to begin chopping them with our chopper. Impressive, huh??

That evening there was a fundraiser meal and concert (Feed the Spirit) for Bonfire Memorial. Angela and I took the kids. Caleb came to pick Cooper and Parker up on his way home from work. I was able to stay and enjoy Aaron Watson and even went to yell practice with Angela and Addison. :)

Parker & Folding Towels

Today I had a ton of towels to fold. Parker said he wanted to help, so I showed him how to fold wash rags and hand towels or as he calls them "small and medium towels."

He folded all of these wash rags:

And that's how you fold a "medium towel."

Turkey Bottom

Don't you wish you would wear something on your bottom and everyone think it's this cute?

Thanksgiving Program and Fall Feast

This is how Cooper spent the feast and program:

The Boys....

Cooper showing off his muscles...
Parker is obsessed with the water fountain at school.
He wants one at home- made it on his "wish list" for Christmas.

Turkey Cookies

Tomorrow Parker has a Thanksgiving feast at school and we are to bring cookies.
While Cooper relaxed in his NapNanny, Parker and I decorated sugar cookies into turkey's.

He got his chair all ready pulled up to the counter.

He saw me looking at the example on the computer so he wanted to check it out before he started as well....

And then he began decorating...
Final product...

Didn't he do such a great job?!?!?!?
